Located in picturesque Monson, Massachusetts, the Monson Arts Council has been active in the community since its inception in 1978 and today serves as a resource for local artists and art lovers alike. The Monson Arts Council is pleased to announce the cast for the upcoming production of Steel Magnolias by Robert Harling, which will be presented at Memorial Hall from October 27-30, 2022.
This will be the first production by MAC in eight years!
Following two evenings of auditions, and a call back night, the following actors have been cast in the show:

In recognition of her exemplary service to the town of Monson in community theatre, the Monson Arts Council is pleased to announce that Phyllis Hull is the very first recipient of “A Feather In Your Cap Award.” This award is given to a member of the local arts community who has made significant contributions to theatre in Monson. It is named after the very first musical presented “A Feather In Her Cap” written by Mrs. Hull. In recognition of her talents and contributions to Monson theatre, Mrs. Hull will be presented with an award at the inaugural performance of Steel Magnolias by Robert Harling, on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Hall.
