We will never sell or distribute your personal data to any third party. We will only use your email to contact you with any notifications you opt into receiving, or for customer service issues.
Some content on our site is only available to registered users. For instance, contacting a volunteer group directly or leaving a review on a business is only available to registered users. Remember, registration is FREE – so sign up here to access all of our content.
A large portion of any proceeds goes to bettering the community. myMonson will directly fund projects, charities and associations and will only work with Monson-based departments or organizations which benefit the residents of the Town.
The more you traffic and use this site, the more proceeds can be raised, and the more money will go towards benefitting the Town.
All events are FREE! You must have a username to create an event.
Yes! You can sell tickets directly through our site. A small portion of the ticket price will go towards an admin fee for myMonson. If your event is free, then myMonson will not collect an admin fee at all, but you can still issue tickets!
Yes! Events should be related in some way to Monson. For example, if you are in a band and some of your band members live in Monson, you can list a gig in a nearby town. Or, if you host an event in a nearby town that is open to the public, and Monson residents can enjoy it, feel free to post it up on our site!
Yes! If you want an RSVP, you can create one when you create your event, and you don’t even need to have your event ticketed. At this time RSVP’s cannot be exclusive to a list of emails and must be open to the public. (We are working on that feature!)
This is only to prevent spamming and inappropriate information from being posted on the site. We are not in the business of editorializing or censoring content, but are a family friendly site and do have Terms & Conditions which are enforced. Therefore, we will review each event listing prior to publishing it on the site. Most events will publish within 24 to 48 hours of submission.
Yes! Feel free to add that to our calendar – we’ve even made a category just for tag sales!
No! If you have a Venue listed on our site, then people can reach you through your Venue page. If you need assistance creating a Venue page, please contact us at events@mymonson.org and we’ll be happy to assist!
Yes – we offer three pricing tiers. Each tier unlocks additional value. Please start the process of adding a business and, once you choose a primary category, you will see our pricing tiers.
At this time we are not offering monthly subscriptions. As we grow, and if our clients ask for this feature, it is something we may implement.
The Monson Business and Civic Association is a group of representatives from local businesses and civic groups, as well as the Town of Monson, who meet regularly to brainstorm and discuss ideas about improving commerce and tourism in the Town of Monson. This is not a government sponsored entity. The goal of the Association is to improve communication and collaboration between businesses and the community at large, providing high-impact networking opportunities and fostering the local community spirit.
No! And there’s a very good reason. We are open to all businesses in surrounding towns – the more businesses that list with myMonson, the more the site can give back to Monson. You will still get your business in front of a curated audience! But businesses located in Monson do get a super cool “hometown” badge!
