ACTIVE-DUTY MILITARY, VETERANS, AND THEIR FAMILIES
The purpose of the Empowerment Center is to provide well balanced, shelf-stable food boxes to help alleviate food and nutritional insecurity for Veterans, active-duty Military and their families.
The Center is open and welcoming to any active duty; veterans and their spouses and immediate family members (living with them); widows(ers) of veterans; Gold Star families; National Guard members and more
Please Note: Walk ins without an appointment are not allowed, please schedule your visit using this link – You must bring a copy of the Reservation Confirmation to enter the Empowerment Center or be able to show your reservation on your phone.
A registration form needs to be filled out at time of your first visit and proof of service. This proof can be a Drivers License stating “veteran” on it; your VA card; your DD 214 or Discharge papers. These can be shown by a picture on your phone. A brief interview will be conducted to answer any questions you may have and to familiarize you with the program.
This store is located in the old “99” Restaurant at Eastfield Mall in Springfield on Boston Rd.
Reservations are limited to 1 visit per week.
