Slower paced than your typical power flow, these classes move slowly and fluidly through a series of postures, linking breath to movement. The longer holds help to build strength, and the focus on stretching helps to lengthen muscles and improve flexibility ~ while the overall goal is to relieve tension in the body and calm the mind. Slow Flow classes are often a good starting point for people new to yoga, as they provide an opportunity to learn the basics at a more relaxed pace.
