The October Open House at the Keep Homestead Museum will be held on Sunday, October 2 from 1 – 3:30 pm. This month, the museum focuses on play time. “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” cartoon will be shown continuously. In addition, there will be old-fashioned toys and activities for children of all ages to use in the barn. They can try puzzles, cornhole, building blocks, hoops, find out what a thaumatrope is, and more. The craft project will be decorating a scarecrow with buttons.
The museum will be open for viewing and admission is free, however donations are always gratefully accepted.
