On Friday, September 15, First Church of Monson will hold a dinner and organ concert open to the public. Featured artists , performing on the Three Manual Johnson & Son Organ, Opus 781, 1892, will be Kiel Krommer, Director of Music Ministry at First Church, and Wesley Hall, Music Director of First Baptist Church, Worcester. The program will include classical and contemporary pieces to highlight the sounds of the organ.
The dinner menu will include ham, pasta salad, fruit, pickled beets, Italian bread, and raspberry dessert. Dinner will be served at 5 p.m. followed by the concert at 7 p.m. Tickets for the dinner and concert are $20; tickets for the concert will be sold at the door for $5. For reservations, contact Gail at (413) 267-4818 by September 11.
