Join the Community to pay tribute to and honor the service and sacrifice of our Service Members and Veterans this Memorial Day Weekend!
On Saturday, May 27th @ 9 am to 11 am, we invite you and your family to join us as we place flags at Veterans Gravesites located in the Cemeteries throughout town. Choose a cemetery, arrive between the hours of 9 am and 11 am, and honor a Veteran by placing a flag at their place of rest. Members of the American Legion Post 241 will be on-hand to provide community members with flags and flag placement instructions. Members of the Patriotic Celebrations Committee will be on-hand to ensure Veterans are documented and listed on the Cemetery’s by name listing. This is a family friendly event and a great opportunity to share your gratitude for the service and sacrifice of our Nations finest!
