FREE TIPS Training

REGISTRATION REQUIRED BY JULY 12

The Quaboag Hills Substance Use Alliance wants to support local businesses to provide safe alcohol sales in our communities, whether from a package store, restaurant, or at a community event.  We offer FREE Tips (Training for Intervention Procedures) training for businesses in the Quaboag Hills Region.  This training can be beneficial when applying for a 1-day alcohol license, license renewal, or when discussing rates with your insurance company.

On Sunday, July 23, we will be providing TIPS training for VENDORS from 10-1pm at the Education to Employment Center in Ware.  Registration is required by July 12 – there is a companion training manual that will be ordered according to the number of participants who sign up.  Seats for free training are limited.

Other types of TIPS Training are also available:

• Best Practices On-Premise Program
  For servers at restaurants, bars, hotels, in-store tastings, or other establishments where alcohol is consumed on the premises
• Best Practices Off-Premise Program
  For the sale of alcohol at grocery stores, liquor stores, convenience stores, and package stores
