Join Us as we pay tribute to and celebrate our Service Members and Veterans on Monday, May 29th @ 11 am, Memorial Day.
Parade will begin promptly at 11 am, starting at the Animal Hospital on Main Street and traveling down Main Street to Memorial Hall. The parade will be led by the American Legion Post 241, which will stop to render military honors at respective cemetery’s along the route, and followed by organizations from community and Monson’s very own Police & Fire Departments. We encourage community members to bring their family and friends and line Main Street. The parade will end at Memorial Hall, which will be immediately followed by the annual Town Memorial Day Ceremony.
You and your family are invited to join the community as we gather outside of Memorial Hall to pay tribute and honor our Service Members and Veterans who have made the ultimate sacrifice, or have passed on before us. State Representative Brian Ashe and Angelo Puppolo, Granite Valley Middle School Chorus, Ms. Jordyn Doyle of MHS, Monson Cub Scott Pack 168, Select Board Members, and many more will be participating. Please join us at this annual Town traditional day of reflection and remembrance!
